Concert Poster

My inspiration for the poster came from LANY's soft indie aesthetic, along with their various album covers and band photos featuring Bougainvillea flowers. Specifically, their second EP “I Loved You”, which showed a lone sink overflowing with flowers and water. I expanded on this idea by including an internet lore known as “Hanahaki Disease”, which claims that a victim of unrequited love will cough-up flower petals until their significant other returns their romantic affections, or they forcibly remove their love (a “virus”) from their body completely. In this poster, the viewer is in the perspective of the protagonist who just coughed-up flowers into the sink.
